Carry On, Carry On: A Mission to Mexico.

This past ten days, I have been working with a group of lovely friends from my church at an orphanage in Vicente Gurerro, Mexico. Such an experience creates a feeling of family within the group so much so that upon coming home, sitting in my house alone felt eerily quiet and incredibly boring.

I made a quick video from a collection of clips I took with my iPhone throughout the trip. I feel it sums up how our group connected and what our dynamic was like.

I’ll end with a statement that I find incredibly cliché and also incredibly truthful: Going on a mission trip does more for the person serving than it does for the people being served.

We may have provided fun for the children and labor for the Mission, but we were changed the most in our hearts by the experience.
